COMMUNITY SERVICE
The following is a community service provided by the Williamson Fire Department.

Great Smoke Detector Giveaway

The Great Smoke Detector Giveaway began in 2002 as a joint venture between the WFD and Doctor's Radha and Vinny Kudva, the Williamson Rotary Club, and the Williamson Daily News, to ensure that every home is equipped with at least one of these life saving devices. Thanks to their generosity hundreds of people in the Tug Valley Region have received free smoke detectors for their home. Needy residents simply clip the mail-in coupon out of the Daily News during National Fire Prevention Week each October and send it to the WFD. Members of the Department are also available to assist residents installing their detectors if needed.

Check your Williamson Daily News during the second week of October for more information and a mail-in coupon.

    For more information call 235-5273.
